Armand Rousso in the TRI-STATE TRADER

There is a new concept in the stamp market.

Rousso has some interesting ideas that have been successful. His latest is an exchange similar to the stock exchange in New York. Stamps will be listed, and buying and selling ill be done by computer. If it goes over, there will be a number of outlets for entering the computer, if you don’t have your own. Rousso is trying to get permission for banks and brokerage houses to offer stamps as investment items.

If this takes over, it will make buying and selling stamps much like the buying and selling of stocks on the New York Stock Exchange. I believe this would be a boost for the hobby. Perhaps it will cause a temporary “run” on some issues, but it should be a very good way to sell and buy stamps.
